Bali Trip

 On summer holday my family and I went to Bali. We departed from Bandung at 3 P.M. and arrived in Bali at 18:00 P.M..

 We directly went to the hotel which was Ibis Style Hotel. After we checked-in, we went out for dinner in the mal. The we headed back.

 Second day, we went to Ubud. We had our lunch in Pundi-Pundi restaurant. Afterwards we went to Gianyar. The view was quite beautiful. From there we headed back to ubud and we stayed in Beji Villa Ubud. Afterwards we bought some snacks the we had dinner in a chinese restaurant there. Then we headed back to the hotel.

 At the third day, we went to Kuta. We haded our lunch there. After we had our lunch we proceed to Uluwatu. In Uluwatu there were lots of bad monkeys. The monkeys like to steal the tourist things from sandals, sun glasses, etc. Afterwards we headed back to Kuta. We stay in Kuta Station Hotel. Afterwards we played bowling at Paradiso. We had our dinner at the hotel. I went back to hotel while my parents and my brother went for a walk. Then we slept.

 At the fourth day, we moved to Nusa Dua. There we stayed in Melia Hotel Bali. Since we couldn't check in yet, we go for lunch at Bali Collection. Afterwards, my parents went to shop at Sogo, while my brother and I went to Starbucks. I ordered Strawberry Cheesecake and Mocha. Then we went back to the hotel and checked-in and directly went to the beach. We had our dinner at Bali Nelayan which is very good.

 

 The next day we checked out and we headed back to Bandung. That's the last of it.

     After reading this book, I realize that I have to be thankful for my life. This book is about a little girl who is struggling to survive during the Nazi’s occupation in Copenhagen, Denmark. The girl has to protect one of her Jews friend from the Nazi’s soldier. At last Annemarie and her friend, Ellen, have to separate in order to survive.

   I like this book because it has a very strong message about appreciating life and I am thankful that we were not born during the Nazi’s occupation. There are some metaphors used in this book. ‘The fire gleefully began to devour the cloth’(page 6) 'mama was crying, and the rain made it seem as if the whole world was crying’(page.41) ‘the meadow ended at the sea, and the gray water licked there at damp brown grass flattened by the wind and bordered by smooth heavy rocks’ (page.61) and at last we have ‘the tree’s and bush’s closed around her’. The lessons I get from this book are: we have to appreciate our life more, because lots of people are suffering out there. We also have to be thankful that we don't have to experience life during the war time where bullets are flying  and blood everywhere. Even though we are not in the war, we still have to face "war” in our mind, heart and spirit.

   If I have to rate this book from 1-10, I give 10. This  book has inspired me a lot by encouraging me to study harder and it also tells me to face the reality with braveness. I recommend this book from pre-teenagers and teenagers who don’t appreciate their life and  face some obstacles in their life.

  So I encourage young readers to give their time to read this fascinating book. This book will inspired them too!

Singapore Trip 23-29 March 2014

Yo whats sup

  I know I haven't post anything in the past few weeks because I am very busy at that time and last 3 weeks I have my Middle Year Exam. Now I am gonna tell ya'll about my trip to Singapore last 2 weeks.

  At the first we gather in Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia at 5:30 A.M. Jakarta time zone. We were taking the 7:10 A.M. flight by Air Asia. The airport check-in is very slow and the immigration is like a snail. As soon as we arrived we went to the school's hostel. Afterwards we went to Universal Studio and we had our lunch there.We played Jurassic Park and a baby game.

Then we had our dinner at Food Republic. Then we went back to the hostel and had a sleep.

    On the second day, it was the first day of school. We visited the Anderson Middle School. We had a school tour first .After the school tour, we had a tea break which was eating a snack and each class IC's picked us into the class. I was in 2-2 class. At 12:30 p.m. Singapore time we had lunch in the school's library. After school we went back to the hostel by walking. Then we went to Orchard Road. The first thing that we did was deciding our group.  I went with few girls well technically no boys. The first thing was bought Starbucks Coffee, then I went to buy Smiggle pencil box  for my brother. After we went out I had dinner with some boys in Food Republic and I ate a portion of pork noodle. Afterwards we gather outside and went back to the hostel.

    The third day, we went to school as usual. Well I fell asleep in the lesson of the first drama class, then the rest of the lesson I never pay attention to the teacher because they never talked to me. We had lunch at 12:30 as usual in the school's library.  After school we go  to Chinatown. In Chinatown we bought the Orchard Ice cream which cost me $1.2 and we bought a delicious Gao Bao because there were pork in it. Then we bought a CoCo which is Taiwan's bubble tea shop. In the night, we had dinner at the night market . We had a stingray, squid and a bowl of rice. Finished the dinner we gathered at the SMRT station, then we went back to the hostel and had a sleep.

   Fourth day or Wednesday we went to school as usual and we had recess at 10:00-10:30 and lunch at 12:30-13:30. After school, we went back to the hostel then we went to Bugis Junction. There I went with 3 girls and one boy. We went to Bugis Junctio+ and the girls bought shirts and shorts while my friend Axell and I just sat down and played our phone. Then I bought a bottle of perfume at the 'The Body Shop' shop. Afterwards we had dinner in Yashinoya and I ate a bowl of ramen and then  I bought few candies for snacking, cake and chips. Afterwards we gathered in SMRT station then we went home and had a sweet sleep.

   Fifth day or Thursday we went to school as usual and we had recess at 10:00-10:30 and lunch time at 12:30 - 13:30. That day was our last day in  Anderson Middle School and we did a small farewell with them. Then we went back to the hostel but some of my friends and my teachers went  there by  bus. We changed our clothes and got prepared ourselves. Then we went to Marina Barrage and Garden By The Bay. Even tough we didn't go to Marina Bay Sands but we enjoyed the solidity of our class. Then we went to Ang Mo Kio to have our dinner there. We ate a bowl of rice, chicken and eggs, tofu, a bowl of soup and a milkshake. Then we gathered at SMRT station and afterwards we went back to the hostel and had a sleep.

   Sixth day or Friday we went to ACS - Anglo Chinese School to attend the exhibition there. We met few of our eight grader from SMPK 1 and sir Aditiya. We won the ' The Best Report Award' well it was a good achievement from our school. Then we had lunch in a food court right across the school. I ate a pork hamburger and drank a coke. Afterwards we went back to the hostel changed our clothes. Around 16:00-17:00 we went to Novena. We only stayed in the Buger King and ate the BK Charcoal Burger. Afterwards I bought Chatime and Baskin Robin ice cream. We enjoyed the fun. Well I was there with most of my friends. Afterwards we gathered in the station then we went back to the hostel packed up and sleep.



    The Last day or Saturday we went to the Science Center. Well it's boring there but there were few weird stuff. In Science Center I went with some girls and a boy. We were there only from 10:00-11:30 afterwards and we spent our remaining time in the McDonald. In the McDonald I bought a Fillet O'Fish burger then I bought an ice cream. Then we went to the Changi Airport, we checked in and spent around 90 minutes for the check in. Then after we passed the immigration my friends and I went to Starbucks Coffee. There I bought a cup of coffee and relax. Then I had lunch at the food court. I bought a duck meat noodle and Subway sandwich. Afterwards we wait in the waiting room before we boarded. Our departure was at 17:00 p.m. Indonesian time.

  My favorite subject in school is Native. I like Native lesson because we never actually learning we're just playing games ya know.

  This 2nd semester we got a little changes in the teacher. First we got Sir Nick from England. Now the one who teaches us is Ms. Carey from the U.S.

   Well I'm kinna shock with the changes 'cuz we have never been tought by Ms. Carey

I like iPad and iPhone are because it's lighter so its easier to carry around, more fun games, more applications, longer battery life and it's easier to use rather than using iMac or Macbook or so.

In iPad my favorite games are: GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City, GTA 3, GTA Chinatown Wars and NBA.I don't have any game in my iPhone, because I bought the 16 GB iPhone so it has small memories.
